A proven doe is defined as a doe that has successfully raised a litter. While all of the other options may be true for some does, they do not encompass the full definition of a proven doe. A doe that is approved for breeding may not have actually successfully bred or raised a litter. A doe that has achieved championship status may not have produced any offspring or may have only produced a limited number. A doe that has been tattooed for registration is important for identification and registration purposes, but it does not necessarily mean the doe has proven her ability as a parent.
